My Pets - III

This is my one and only bunny. It is also a she (only girls in the house!) and females are supposed to be calmer than the males… yet this one gives me a lot of trouble. She constantly wants to be out of her cage and she’s always chewing wires. The wire of my lamp is all chewed up! But it is rewarding to take care of her. She plays with me and sometimes gives me kisses (bunny licks) when I pet her on the head and behind her ears. Today she growled at me when I didn’t want to take her out of her cage. It was the first time she did that! The sound was so adorable! Of course, I couldn’t stand to see her struggling to get out of her cage so I took her out and let her hop in my room. Although my dear pets give me work, it is rewarding to see them happy.

My Pets - II

This is my second and last (but not least) hamster. It is also a ‘she’. She’s more demanding and more agitated than the other one. Sometimes she is grumpy. When I was taking the picture, she started to protest in loud high pitched sounds. So she wasn’t very cooperative therefore gave a bit of trouble to take a nice picture of her. She is a bit different than the other one. She’s usually more excited and full of energy. She has escaped thrice from her cage and the other one has escaped five times… I guess hamsters really like to explore.

Her favorite fruit is the apple. Especially the green one that is not acid. She also loves bread…

My Pets - I

This is one of my two fluffy hamsters. I was trying to take a picture of her (yes, it is a ‘she’) and she was looking at the camera as if posing. It was really cute.

She is very shy and you have to be very delicate with her. In summer, her color changes to a brighter one. Her back and face start to get whiter.

The seeds on the ground are one of the many components of their diet. Although, hamsters can’t always eat only that type of food (it’s only meant to be a supplement), you have to give them fresh vegetables and fruit. Her favorite one is the carrot.

As odd as it may seem, hamster don’t eat cheese because, technically, they’re not mice (even though their DNA has some of their genes).

Piano Concert

It makes such a ridiculous sight
Even words cannot describe.

The texture smooth and nevertheless rough,

When skin glides over black and white

Forms a musical... not quite enough.

Allegro plays in arrhythmic melody

And fingers make an exquisite calamity,

Who can hear to such atrocity?

Although it's played disastrously,

The audience shows no animosity

You say ignorance is bliss,

Yet to be able to ignore all this,

Being worse than a beginner pianist,

I say it may undoubtedly be a gift.

Depression

They only know how to complain... saying how you should force yourself to look happier. They don't want to know which are the reasons for your emotional state... at least not with sincere intentions. Sometimes they may ask «what's up with you», or just pat you on the back - as if that would change anything.

When you are still the same, sad and depressed with good reasons, they start getting angry at you. They think they have the right to be angry at you because you aren't happy. Now I'm confused... Is that even rational?

The worst of all is that after a good while you still continue depressed because no one can help you... and they start to back away from you and leave you all alone... when you needed their company the most.
That period may change you, it may reveal who your true friends are. And also, it may help you to see the world in a different, harsher and more real perspective.

The most frustrating for you is that they left you alone. When you did nothing wrong. They couldn't bother to truly attempt to help you, so they turned their back on you... they walked away from a problem. Weaklings. If everyone backed away from a situation that wasn't convenient for them... then the world would be in chaos.
Although I may say that it actually is...

So, you might as well be happy, because no one cares if you are sad.
